Once again, we can proudly announce the promotion of one of our colleagues to the new role. From June 1, 2021, our colleague Ernest Ević will take over the position of Deputy Director of our Regional Center in Osijek. In his new role, Ernest will be responsible for the further development of Institut IGH in Osijek and the Slavonian region in general. Also, he will actively work on analysing the market and trends as well development of client relations. Furthermore, together with other colleagues, he will continue to develop a good image and perception of IGH as a leading civil engineering company in the region among clients, partners, and employees.
Ernest has been working at the IGH Institute for 27 years. He acquired his title of Master of Science in civil engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Osijek. In addition to his formal education, he is a licensed civil engineer at the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers. He is also a certified IPMA project manager and FIDIC engineer.
He began his career as a designer and supervising engineer in the post-war reconstruction of houses in eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Vukovar, and after that in the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities and the road network. For more than 20 years, Ernest has been involved in the construction of roads and motorways as a supervising or chief supervising engineer for routes and customs crossings, as well as in the building construction and industrial plants.
When it comes to his references, he has worked on numerous projects, but we will mention only some, such as the construction of the bridge over the river Drava near Osijek (D7), the bridge over the river Orljava in Pleternica, the construction of facilities on the Vinkovci bypass (bridge near Bosut) ), construction of customs crossings in Sl. Brod and Šamac, construction of V.Gorica junction on the A11 motorway from Zagreb to Sisak, construction of the residential and business complex "Kappa" and the Gradski vrt teaching and sports hall in Osijek, a subsection of the A5 motorway from the junction Osijek to the Halasica bridge with a bridge over the river Drava and a complex of outdoor and indoor swimming pools in Vukovar city.
