The reconstruction of the Hotel Laguna Parentium, a complex of 25,680 m2 was carried out in the Green Lagoon of the Town of Poreč. Hotel Laguna Parentium is the first hotel to obtain the energy certificate A. The hotel was equipped for 4+*, and all preparations for obtaining 5* were made. The design of Hotel Laguna Parentium was developed by AGRO inženjering d.o.o. Zagreb. Hotel Laguna Parentium has 580 beds divided into 268 accommodation units, which include 245 double rooms, 22 suites and 1 presidential suite. Accommodation units are organized in separate pavilion blocks: A, B, C1, C2, D and E. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel (the main restaurant with 282 seats, fish restaurant with 176 seats and à la carte restaurant with 80 seats), the Pool-Lounge bar and terrace of the à la carte restaurant with 100 seats, aperitif bar, wellness, beauty and fitness, indoor pool, conference hall, casino and night bar, outdoor salt-water and freshwater pools, hotel beach and necessary technical facilities. As a part of the hotel complex Laguna Parentium, a new access road was built as well as 2 car parks with 276 parking places. New installations have been placed in the entire peninsula and the zone was landscaped. The structure itself has an irregular plan view shape of area ca. 7,670 m2 with maximum dimensions 150 x 115 m and height of 20.7 m. It was designed with 6 levels of total gross developed area of ca. 25,680 m2. The structure is divided into 10 segments and they have all been executed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure with bearing reinforced concrete walls and slabs. Facade walls are filled with jumbo brick. The facade was executed as an ETICS system, 10 cm in thickness with facade and lift and slide walls. The hotel is air-conditioned by water-water heat pumps, which is how hot water for consumption is obtained. The hotel is controlled via the “smart home” system and CNUS system.
